The useful check joins five fields: trade name, legal operator, exact domain, licence class and mode of operation.
How to read the current notice
- Start at the regulator. Open the NLGRB licensed-companies page and use the current year.
- Match the company. The legal operator can differ completely from the trade name on the screen.
- Match the exact domain. A similar spelling, different country path or generic international site is not automatically the same record.
- Read the class. General betting, casino, software and machine licences cover different activities.
- Read the mode. A listed website beside a land-based permission is not proof of online authorisation.
Age check: the consolidated Lotteries and Gaming Act defines a minor as a person below 25.
